Plasma

[Also known as Plasma TV or Plasma Display or Plasma Screen] A type of display that consists of a layer of plasma gas sandwiched between two layers of glass. As an electrical current is applied to the plasma it gives off energy which excites phosphors coated on the glass, producing an image. Plasma displays are bright, sharp, and thin.
