IOGEAR's Long Range Wireless 5x2 HDMI Matrix PRO with multicast is the first of it's kind to send full uncompressed HD 1080p from up to 5 source devices and allow you to switch and independently select any source between 2 HDTV's up to 200 feet away, wirelessly!

Long Range Wireless 5x2 HDMI Matrix PRO

Natively the kit consists of a Transmitter (5 port switch) with connections for HDMI and Component along with a wireless HDMI Receiver. It also provides a loop through (local port) on the Transmitter for an advanced 2 HDTV set up.

The wireless matrix feature allows a user to switch and independently select any source between 2 HDTVs, creating 2 completely different audio / video environments. With multicasting, the transmitter broadcasts the same video source to all 4 wireless receivers, while the transmitter itself is able to view a separate source or same source making it a 5 HDTV solution!

Long Range Wireless 5x2 HDMI Matrix PRO applications

Connectivity

Flexibility
Switch and independently select any of 5 sources between 2 HDTVs in 2 locations. In addition, Long Range Wireless 5x2 Matrix PRO offers multicasting* capability, allowing users to add up to 4 additional wireless receivers** to send content to 5 HDTV's at 5 locations at the same time.

Convenience
Ideal in applications for residential, commercial, education, house of worship, entertainment and many other retrofitting projects where demolition or running wires is not an option. Additionally, it does not require line-of-sight placement keeping equipment out of sight and enabling a through wall solution.

EDID management
The default EDID resolution setting is 720p, to ensure HD video on every initial set up. The PRO unit provides three (3) EDID management modes for the best installation every time. This gives flexibility and power for any install or end customer's desired set up.

    This is cool!

Is this limited to only two outputs (as the name: 5x2 suggests)?

In addition to my main TV, I would like to be able to send two more signals, one to the kitchen and another to the porch (during summer, of course!). Is there a way to accomplish this?

      This solution is expandable.

Natively the kit consists of one Transmitter (5 port switch) and one wireless Receiver (sending signals to one local screen and one remote screen, hence 5x2).

You can add one more wireless Receiver to your system to accomplish your setup, or you can simply purchase and expanded 5x3 kit we have set up for situations like yours that already includes the additional wireless Receiver.
