Two new rugged door contact sensors compatible with ENVIROMUX line of environment monitoring systems are designed for commercial and industrial installations in harsh environments.
KVMGalore today announced the addition of rugged door contact sensors to the popular ENVIROMUX line of environment monitoring system sensors from Network Technologies Inc. (NTI). The two models introduced are designed for commercial and industrial installations in harsh environments.
The E-DCSR-V2 rugged door contact sensor is an industrial-grade floor-mount switch that is primarily used for the protection of overhead doors where the operation of heavy motorized traffic would make it impossible to use any type of plastic-encapsulated switch. The E-DCSR-UV2 door contact sensor with universal style magnet can be mounted at various angles for difficult installations.
The sensors are constructed with heavy-cast metal housing and integrated 3.06 foot armored cable. A wide operating gap distance of up to 2.5 inches makes installation easy and helps prevent false alarms caused by door movement or damaged and loose fitting doors.
The door contact sensors are for a normally-open or normally-closed circuit connection, and connect to a digital input screw terminal on NTIs ENVIROMUX® E-2D/5D/16D, E-1W, E-MINI-LXO or E-MICRO Environment Monitoring Systems.
Available for immediate sale, both the E-DCSR-V2 and E-DCSR-UV2 rugged door contact sensors cost $59.99 each.
