Announcing New ARDx-Enabled Transmitters and Viewer - A Switch-Less KVM over IP system
KVMGalore today announced its support for new ARDx, a next generation KVM over IP technology from Adder Technology, a leader in connectivity solutions and high performance IP KVM.
The announcement also introduces the first products designed and developed to leverage the ARDx powerful feature set, comprising a new ZeroU™ transmitters, and desktop software client for management and configuration of ARDx enabled devices.
With this news, KVMGalore brings to market Adder's next generation KVM over IP for many diverse applications including video walls, medical imaging and remote access in the industrial sector.
The new system is designed for accessing and controlling unlimited number of computers (each connected to a Portal dongle) from unlimited number of remote PCs (users, each running ARDx viewer) over a LAN or the Internet
Neil Firth, senior product manager, Adder, explains, "Developing ARDx was a direct response to the growing demand amongst our customers with mission critical applications for more secure, reliable and resilient solutions for network access, management and control of distributed computers. Combining hardware and software elements, and Adder’s development expertise, we’re also introducing the first products to benefit from next generation of KVM over IP". Daniel Schar, president of KVMGalore, added: "ARDx sets a new standard for connectivity in the KVM space, and we are already exploring many deployment opportunities around the globe with our customers."
