New, fifth-generation MergePoint Unity 2 (MPU2) KVM-over-IP switches from Vertiv™ Avocent^® provide secure access, control, and management to critical systems locally or around the world.

Vertiv Avocent MergePoint Unity 2 (MPU2) KVM-over-IP switches are a complete remote IT monitoring and management solution. They are available in 8-to-32-port configurations, with support for up to 4 remote users, making them well-suited for managing devices in both data centers and branch offices.

MPU2 allow fast diagnosis, reconfiguration, or restoration of equipment to minimize downtime. They also protect systems from unverified firmware and software.

MergePoint Unity 2 (MPU2) KVM-over-IP switches are compatible with IQ Server Interface Modules (dongles) from previous MergePoint Unity switch models, supporting computers with DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI and VGA video interface, supporting virtual-media and serial device connectivity.

These TAA-compliant switches also have 1, 2 and 3 year advanced extended support plans available. Combined with the original 2 year standard warranty, customers can now have 3, 4, or 5 years of an advance replacement plan when purchasing one of the available advanced extended support plans.
